Hill Country Trip 1997

Donna's Comments About the trip

On our trip to Fredericksburg, we took the scenic country route. Along the country roads, we passed by the most beautiful fields of wildflowers I'd ever seen and old live oak trees that had a lot of character. Of course, we had to stop and take pictures and just enjoy the beauty of God's creation. We stayed in a B&B right in off the main street in Fredericksburg where we could walk to the shopping area downtown. What a way to relax! We also enjoyed some German food while we were here. We drove over to Kerrville and visited the James Avery jewelry factory and showroom. We saw craftsman making the jewelry by hand. We also went to an old department store downtown that brought back lots of old memorys. On the way back we went thru Austin and ate at Bill's favorite Chili place, Texas Chili Parlor, down by the Capital. I was definitely a great trip.
