I was born August 11, 1984 in Dallas, Texas
I'm Obedience trained with a level of CD. (Companion Dog)
I am in charge of the home where I live and have it very good.
My Masters, Donna and Bill, love me very much and treat me like
the King that I am.
I like cereal for breakfast (Grapenuts are my favorite), and get
treats before bed with my pills that I take. I like Pupperoni best.
I sleep in bed with my parents(Masters) unless they are out of town.
Then I sleep with my brother Kenny, the one with the big truck.
I have my own door to the backyard where the Pool is and I can jump
off the diving board and go swimming anytime I want to.
I guess you might say I have it made. Would anyone like to lead my
"LIFE OF A DOG"?

ALL YOU'LL EVER NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE

YOU CAN LEARN FROM YOUR DOG If you stare at someone long enough, eventually you will get what you want.
Be direct with people; let them know exactly how you feel by piddling on their shoes.
When it comes to having sex, if at first you don't succeed, beg.
Be aware of when to hold your tongue and when to use it.
Leave room in your schedule for a good nap.
Always give people a friendly greeting. A cold nose in the crotch is effective.
Don't go out without ID.
When you do something wrong, always take responsibility.
(As soon as you're dragged out from under the bed.)
If it's not wet and sloppy it's not a real kiss.
When you go out into the world, remember: always take time to smell the roses,,,
and the trees, the grass, the rocks, the street, the fire hydrants....

Here's MY favorite philosophical statement.

Why Dogs are better than Women

Dogs don't cry.
Dogs love it when your friends come over.
Dogs don't care if you use their shampoo.
Dogs think you sing great.
A dog's time in the bathroom is confined to a quick drink.
Dogs don't expect you to call when you are running late.
The later you are the more excited dogs are to see you.
Dogs will forgive you for playing with other dogs.
Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.
Dogs are excited by rough play.
Dogs don't mind if you give their offspring away.
Dogs understand that farts are funny.
Dogs can appreciate excessive body hair.
Anyone can get a good looking dog.
If a dog is gorgeous, other dogs don't hate it.
Dogs don't shop.
Dogs like it when you leave lots of things on the floor.
A Dog's disposition stays the same all month long.
Dogs never need to examine the relationship.
A Dog's parents never visit.
Dogs love long car trips.
Dogs understand that instincts are better than asking for
directions.
When a dog gets old and starts to snap at you incessantly,
you can shoot it.
Dogs like beer.
Dogs don't hate their bodies.
No dog ever put on 100 pounds after reaching adulthood.
Dogs never criticize.
Dogs agree that you have to raise your voice to get your
point across.
Dogs never expect gifts.
It's legal to keep a dog chained up at your house.
Dogs don't worry about germs.
Dogs don't want to know about every other dog that
you have ever had.
Dogs don't let magazine articles guide their lives.
You never have to wait for a dog. They're ready to
go 24 hours a day.
Dogs have no use for flowers, cards, or jewelry.
Dogs don't borrow your shirts.
Dogs never want foot rubs.
Dogs enjoy heavy petting in public.
Dogs find you amusing when you're drunk.
Dogs can't talk.
Dogs seldom outlive you.

Words of wisdom for dog owners                          "Your dog may be dying!  We understand that you meant to be kind by taking your dog with you today, but you could be risking your pet's life." "On a hot summer day, the inside of a car heats up very quickly. On an average 85-degree day, for example, the emperature inside your car - with the window slightly opened - will reach 102 degrees in 10 minutes. in 30 minutes it will go up to 120 degrees. On warmer days, it will go even higher." "A dog's normal body temperature is 101.5 to 102.2 degrees Fahrenheit. A dog can withstand a body temperature of 107 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit for only a very short time before suffering irreparable brain damage - or even death. The closed car interferes with the dog's normal cooling process, that is, evaporation through panting." If your dog is overcome by heat exhaustion, you can give immediate first aid by immersing him or her in cold water until the body temperature is lowered"

A Eulogy to my Species...Dog.

We all know that dogs have special qualities which make them unique among all creatures on this earth. Their devotion and loyalty to man, have set them apart. One of the most enduring eulogies to this affect was presented by a Sedalia, Mo. lawyer by name of George Graham Vest, who was later to become a US Senator.. His speech was in response to a lawsuit on behalf of "Old Drum", a foxhound who was viciously killed by a human neighbor. His owner brought suit for damages.

Senator Vest concluded his case with the following speech:

Gentlemen of the jury, the best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his worst enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name, may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it the most. A man's reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads. The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him and the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog.

Gentleman of the jury, a man's dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master's side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounters with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert he remains. When riches take wings and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens. If fortune drives the master forth an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him to guard against danger, to fight against his enemies and when the last scene of all come, and death takes the master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by his grave side will the noble dog be found. his head between his paws, his eyes sad but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even to death.

Old Drum's master won his suit, amidst a courtroom filled with tears, and Senator Vest's statement has been preserved as a classic statement as presented above.
